Bible Study Buddies ("BSB", "we", "us") is a Christian community based in Accra, Ghana, with members joining from other countries. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website.

• Joining Bible study: name, email address, country or city, and how you heard about us.
• Prayer requests: your request, and optionally your name and contact details. You choose separately whether your name may appear on any shared prayer list and whether our team may follow up with you.
• Faith Camp registration: name, contact details, the number of people in your party including how many are children, emergency contact, and any dietary or accessibility needs.
• Newsletter: your email address and name.
• Contact messages: whatever you choose to send us.

Children are registered for Faith Camp by a parent or guardian, never by themselves. We record the number of children attending and the details needed for their care and safety. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through this website.

To run the ministry: to add you to a Bible study group, to pray for you, to organise Faith Camp and other events, to send you the newsletter you asked for, and to reply to you. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Access is limited by role. Prayer requests are visible only to the prayer team and the site administrator. Faith Camp registrations are visible only to the Faith Camp team and the administrator. Our database enforces these limits at the record level, not only in the interface.

Information is stored in our managed database with access controls and encryption in transit. Only approved staff accounts can sign in to the administration area, and each account only sees the areas its role allows.

Prayer requests are kept while they are being prayed for and archived afterwards. Event and camp registrations are kept for the event and for a reasonable period afterwards for records and planning. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

You can ask us to correct or delete your information, ask what we hold about you, withdraw consent for follow-up, or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

We use only what is needed to make the site work and to understand basic, aggregated usage. We do not use advertising trackers.
